From the land of suburbia, tax free shopping and Joe Biden, the Baker children flourish into hustlers who will cook their way out of any corner or brick wall.

Well, really just Nathaniel cooks. Jasi hustles. From certain angles we look alike put personality wise we're on the polar ends of intro and extro with a good dash of snark & wit thrown into both ends.

In the Fall of 2009 Nathaniel cooked and Jasi marketed, Nathaniel's way into the Culinary Institute of America. And it's an ongoing story, mission, & hustle until Nathaniel beats the statistics and comes out a Black man with a culinary degree from CIA :)

We eat.
We hustle.
We blog.

Mac ‘n Cheese is the hands down comfort food of the century. A simple dish with a plethora of ways to make it. Whether you like baked crunch like a pie a la macoroni pie of the West Indies. Or creamy American style or the inbetween Soul Food delectable of buttery mac ‘n cheese. It can be reworked a million different ways. I love everyone of them in their gluten heavy, carb bustin, cholesterol cloggin way. Its heaven in a cheesy noodle.
Last night I had a small bite of heaven cooked three different ways at the overhyped, ieattheretobeseen Cafeteria in Chelsea. The “Mac Attack” features their three versions of the comfort food staple and it was delectable the whole way through. Add bacon to anything and its magnificent on the taste bud, truffle oil with a slight overhand of garlic, and then a simple creamy delight of gouda and some other fancy cheese. I devoured it in 6 minutes flat and the above picture is proof of my undertaking. I need to go back and review it at normal hours while sober. But that “Mac Attack” was definitely the drunken mans delight. Ahhh heaven…Mac ‘n Cheese is the hands down comfort food of the century. A simple dish with a plethora of ways to make it.
